Nutrition is the foundation of health, and for our carnivore companions, this means a diet of raw, meaty bones and organs. But supplements are almost always necessary for additional support. I have personally used the healing modalities, supplements, and products shown below for my dogs. These are not affiliate marketing links, and I do not receive compensation for recommending the products.
Probiotics, Prebiotics, & Digestive Enzymes. Are necessary to build good bacteria in the intestinal tract. They support good digestion and a healthy immune system. Enzymes are the foundation of energy and life force, and are necessary in order to detoxify and heal the body.
Essential Fatty Acids "EFA's."Aren't just great for your dog's skin, coat, and joints, they are vital for muscular, cardiovascular, cellular, and overall optimal health. Although millions give their pets fish oil, it is a controversial topic. So depending on which side of the fence you are on, I recommend the fish oil and fish oil alternatives listed below.
Joint Health. Daily exercise is the very best way to maintain joint health, but sometimes dogs with existing joint issues need additional healing and pain support.
Immune Support. Natural immune system boosters particularly important for chronic health problems.
Flower Essences. Homeopathic flower essences, or flower remedies, are liquid drops made from flower petals. They work on the vibrational or energy level of the body and gently restore the balance between mind and body by casting out negative emotions.
Essential Oils. Certified pure therapeutic grade essential oils, also called Aromatherapy, are the liquids extracted from all parts of the plant that are either cultivated organically without pesticides or herbicides or grown wild in a clean, non-toxic environment. Essential oils have been used for healing since ancient Egypt.
Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV). This bitter, acidic liquid made from apples has been used for thousands of years for human health ailments but is also a natural alternative to improving the health of our pets. It is important to find a brand that is raw and unpasteurized which ensures it contains beneficial enzymes and acids.
Herbs. Herbs are nature's medicine chest. They are also a natural source of vitamins, minerals, and other beneficial compounds and can assist greatly when an animal's body is in a disease state.
Grooming. Pure, organic and natural made without sulfates, detergents, artificial fragrances or preservatives and is not tested on animals.
